Services - Leak Detection

EMS Leak Detection Services can help you save money and the environment

Remote Wetstock management is vital for all petrol storage facilities committed to preventing wasteful leaks and meeting current Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.

Our services gives customers peace of mind by exceeding the requirements of: the Australian Standard AS4897-2008 (formerly CP4); EPA Victoria Guideline 888; NSW Department of Environment and Climate Change; Tasmanian Environment Division; Brisbane City Council and other emerging EPA regulations and guidelines.

EMS in concert with Fairbanks has been involved in the area of UPSS Leak Detection since 1995 with both SIR (Statistical Inventory Reconciliation) and Automatic Tank Gauging systems.

Our statistical tools model your reconciliation data with over 100 algorithms specific to Australian barometric conditions, which vary significantly across Australia, factoring for vapour, meter and terminal loss/gains to mention but a few.

The Fairbanks model meets and exceeds the US EPA Evaluation protocol of a leak detection threshold of +/- 9 litres per day certified by Ken Wilcox and Associates.

Our service is annually audited by SAI Global to meet the ISO9001-2000 quality system, as Wetstock Management Service.

SIR (Statistical Inventory Reconciliation) analysis is the most popular way to monitor underground petroluem storage systems for leaks at existing service stations.
